Mission

The Strafford Network is a coalition of not-for-profit providers serving Strafford County residents. We provide efficient, accessible, and high quality human services in the midst of a changing environment. Our mission is to:

Identify collaborative opportunities to fill service gaps and to maximize individual organizational strengths.

Seek, administer and/or broker new and ongoing resources.

Advocate for continuation of Strafford County based services.

Serve as a communication link among the not-for-profit service providers in Strafford County.

At present, the Strafford Network consists of 21 human service and health care agencies. Participation and membership will continue to be encouraged from education, transportation, low income and community service groups. Boards are comprised of over 350 volunteers who remain involved in supporting this combined effort. Approximately 2,500 staff persons can be accessed and mobilized to support projects of mutual concern. Over 1,000 volunteers are also actively involved with Strafford Network members, an established force of potential volunteers. The Strafford Network member agencies serve over 25,000 people in Strafford County each year, many of whom require services from multiple agencies.
