Serves children ages 0-16, and
accepts Medicaid. Has a central based clinic offering outpatient
occupational speech and physical therapy and pediatric therapy
services. Also offers speech/language pathology and occupational
therapy. The program offers experienced pediatric therapists,
center based therapy, a pool for therapy, and home and community
consultation. Programs include sensory integration therapy, neuro
developmental therapy, and evaluations for therapeutic
stimulation, feeding and swallowing. Has a satellite office
opening in Hampton, NH.

Offering Education Programming: Pre-vocational, academic, and
vocational educational programs for special needs children ages 3
through 21 who have been determined to be developmentally and/or
physically disabled, have autism, or behavior disorders.
Occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech therapy, and
behavioral consulting are provided as part of the educational
plan. Hippotherapy (horse back riding therapy), horticultural
program, aquatics, job coaching, and community recreational
activities are also offered. We also provide an after school
program, consulting and individual services on a sliding fee
scale to students enrolled elsewhere.
Program Length: School calendar year with extended school year
possible. As a cost effective, community based, client centered
service, the center believes in developing the full potential of
every child within the child's community.

Community Partners provides a wide range of community based
behavioral health and developmental disability services.
Behavioral health supports and services include outpatient
individual and group counseling services for people of all ages,
emergency services, intensive community support and vocational
services, case management, and employee assistance programs.
Supports and services for people with developmental disabilities
include case management, residential services, day programs,
vocational, early intervention, and family support for adults
with developmental disabilities. Services for children with
chronic health conditions and adults with acquired brain

Great Bay Services, formerly known as Great Bay School and
Training Center, provides support for people with developmental
disabilities to enable them to live and work in the community as
independently as possible and with a high quality of life. Having
been established in 1963 by a group of concerned parents, our
organization has long history of serving the Seacoast Area.

This is a section of the NH State Library lending recorded books,
magazines and special playback equipment to people unable to see
regular print comfortably or handle conventional printed mental.
Disability may be permanent or temporary. Collection exceeds
40,000 titles of every type. Service is completely free to
eligible borrowers: no rental fee, no repair costs, no
postage/shipping fees.

The Council provides no direct services, but offers information
and referral. Anyone who has a developmental disability, or is a
family member, service provider, friend or advocate of a person
with a developmental disability may call for assistance at the
above number.
The Council helps to monitor state services for people with
developmental disabilities, recommends policies, advocates for
systems and/or legislative change, when appropriate. We help to
educate policy makers and the public about innovative service
practices and other issues affecting people with developmental
disabilities and provide grants to fund demonstration projects
which fit into the Council's federal Five-year plan.

RMFCC is an early intervention program whose purpose is to help
young children reach their full developmental potential and to
support their families through that process. We provide
developmental and support services for children with special
needs, assistance to their families and assistance in the use of
community and health resources. Our agency offers the following
services:
Early Supports and Services Program
(ESS)Home-based intervention services for infants and toddlers
(ages birth to three) who meet the criteria of the entitlement
program mandated through the Individuals With Disabilities
Education Act (IDEA); supported in part by state and federal
funding . The criteria for eligibility are based on the child's
developmental profile, established condition or at-risk
characteristics.
Early Learning Programs -
Inclusive, developmentally enriched group experiences at our
facility in Stratham or in other community settings. These group
experiences provide children with valuable social opportunities
that include developmentally appropriate activities as well as
individualized educational and therapeutic support as needed.
Pediatric Therapies -
Play-based intervention for children (ages birth to five) who
warrant therapeutic intervention but do not qualify for
entitlement programs such as Early Supports and Services Program
(birth to three) or Preschool Special Education (three to five).
The therapeutic services offered include occupational therapy,
physical therapy, speech and language pathology, and special
education.
Parent Education and Support Programs -
Services provided to families either one-on-one or in a group
setting that focus on a specific topic of interest or area of
need. Current options include:
It Takes Two to Talk, The Hanen Program - Our certified
Hanen instructors teach parents fun activities and interaction
guidelines that enhance their child's communication skills. The
program combines group learning and individual guidance to help
parents understand strategies for developing their child's
speech, language, and communication skills.
Parents As Teachers Program - Our certified Parents As
Teachers (PAT) educators offer parent's practical ways to
encourage learning, manage challenging behavior, and promote
strong parent-child relationships.
Parent/Child Group Program - Our family counselor offers
a group experience that supports families in creating social
opportunities for their child, provides caregivers with
developmental guidance, demonstrates positive discipline
strategies, and creates a safe environment for families to
network and gain support from one another.

and August). A group of families, friends and relatives of those
affected with a mental illness. Joined together for advocacy,
education and mutual support.
